Extrusion blow moulding

The molten plastic is injected into a mould, where it is formed into a hollow tube or pipe.

The extrusion blow moulding process starts by heating PP pellets until they melt. The molten material is then injected into a mould where it is formed into a hollow tube called a parison.

This parison is then placed in a mould and compressed air is used to blow the parison against the walls of the mould, giving it the desired shape.

Extrusion blow moulding of PP is an effective and efficient solution for producing food packaging with an excellent balance between performance, food safety and durability.
